You did WHAT???

So, Caleb has been using scizzors since he was 18 months old. We have NEVER had a problem...until today. He was cutting up papers as usual and brought me something he made. I was so thankful and gave him a hug...then I turned around again and screamed!!! He had taken the scizzors to his hair!!!!!!

The only solution was a buzz...he was NOT happy!

He kicked, he screamed, and when he saw himself in the mirror afterwards he cried and cried!

He immediately put on his hat. It took 4-5 hours for him to take it off and let me take a picture! While I will always think he is cute...I miss his cute spikey hair! :( Lesson learned!

First Day in Nursery

Joshua had his first day in Nursery on Sunday. He is officially a big boy. He did great. He is such a "momma's boy" and I thought that we would have big problems. But he had a blast. We will see how he does next week when he knows what to expect.

I enjoyed Sunday School and RS to the fullest. However, I did miss him a little bit and then remembered what a pain it is to keep a toddler quiet for 3 hours!
Love ya Joshie!

Pregnancy Update

I don't know when. I don't know how. But, the belly has arrived. I think that I went to bed able to fit into my pants before Christmas and then BAM!!! I woke up with a huge belly unable to fit into anything. Unfortunately, when you are pregnant it isn't JUST your abdominal area that grows. I now have junk in about every trunk my body has!

This last Sunday before Church. Almost 24 weeks.

Oh yeah...the close up!

6 months!

Everyone knows that this pregnancy has been bad...really bad. I am no longer going to call it "morning sickness." I am going to call it "life sickness." That is what it feels like to be sick for 6 straight months. Well, I wanted a girl, and I am paying for it! My grandma keeps telling me that at least it isn't like a tooth ache. I will get something in the end for all of this pain. I guess she is right, but it is hard to remember that when you feel like you are car sick and the car just won't stop and pull over! August gave me a blessing in the beginning. I was blessed with patience and long suffering. Well, it has been long. I have been suffering. I actually do feel like I have gained more patience. Too bad we learn our lessons from trials. Such is life. Now I just need to endure....
However, 2009 is going to be a new start. I have already had two good days. No vomiting OR nausea. Wish me luck!

Let it snow!

I have come to the conclusion that the snow hasn't been THAT bad. The boys have had TONS of fun. Joshua finally got some warm boots and stuff and loves heading outside. It is great to have big boys that can walk around and play. Last year was hard because Josh was still little, but Caleb wanted to go out. This year is different. They LOVE the snow. Caleb frequently goes out back by himself and just plays. Joshua even asked to go out and play this week. Snow...boot...hat...coat...was his way of asking. It was cute. Here are some fun pics for you warm weather friends to envy...ha, ha!

Caleb and Joshua out playing in the front yard.

Caleb and his "hill".

Joshua trying to help shovel the walks.

Helping Dad...

Caleb decided that the grass also needed shoveling.

More shoveling...from the grass to the sidewalk.

Way too much snow.

It was shortly after this that Josh's fingers froze and they finally came in. We have since found him some small gloves.

We live in a strange spot. In order to get out of our driveway August had to shovel the asphalt through the semi-culde-sac up to the high point in the road. All this after just having knee surgery a month ago. You rock honey!
As you see...no pics of me. I enjoy watching...not playing.
