Amber hosted the First Annual Spangler Halloween Party this year and it was an absolute blast. I think that everyone that came had a good time. We missed a few (Julie, Isaac, Lydia, M&D Spangler) but hope they will be able to attend the "second" annual event next year. It is amazing how big the family is getting. It seems to keep growing...from both ends:) Spouses of grandkids at one end and new grandbabies on the other.

The entertainment for the evening was the Hoe Down Throw-Down...the live performance was even better then the facebook version!
We also had a parade of talent....everyone picked one member from their family to judge and everyone else did a little dance or performance to go along with their costume. It was hilarious!!! My kids were crazy break dancers!! Josh won the best performance and August and Steve tied with the best costume. So, in order to determine who won August and Steve had a dance off. It rocked. Needless to say, Steve won. August is NOT a dancer. Steve was awesome...in a creepy costume sort of way! He took home the pumpkin award and will turn it over to next years winner!!
