Lots and lots of pics...FINALLY WORDS!!

Halloween Day was so rainy! We were so glad that our area/ward/neighborhood arranged a trunk-or-treat for the kids.  It meant that I got to sit in the warm car handing out candy while the kids ran around to the other cars getting tons of candy without having to run all over the entire neighborhood for too long. I know lot's of parents don't love trunk-or-treats...but I think they are the way to go.

After the trunk-or-treat we surprised Grandpa Mike by trick-or-treating at his house.

Then we hit up Grandma and Grandpa Spangler's house, but they didn't answer.  Wonder why??? (hee hee! maybe next year when they are home from their mission)
The next stop was Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Kelly's.
We also visited Grandma and Grandpa Fannin for some candy before we headed over to Tyler and Kelsey's house for trick-or-treat bingo with friends and family. Great way to end the best Halloween ever!
GNO!
The ladies of "Spring Creek Drive" headed over to Texas Roadhouse
for some dinner and on to a movie.
We had lot's of fall Bdays this year. Grandma and Grandpa both had birthday's and we were able to spend time with them at their house. The kids LOVE going to their farm.
One evening while August was traveling I took the kids to the Dinosaur Museum. It is always a hit.

See the stools in the background? I have to put them all on top of the bar at all times or else Bella (Still!) will go through the cupboards and make huge messes.  This time I had forgotten a stool and she managed to get all of the things down necessary for Hot chocolate...and go swimming at the same time. I think it was only 9AM at the time. Outfit #1 ruined already:)
NIFTY FIFTY! My mom turned the big 5-0 this year.

I love when the kids come in after playing in the snow with red rosy cheeks. Josh's cheeks are the best. We had some great days with all of the snow this year. I actually was happy (in November and December...maybe part of January) when I woke up to snow (so not excited in February and March).

Winter means endless crafts. Anything to keep  busy kids busy. Josh is quite the crafter. Some days I didn't even hardly speak to him because he was coloring, gluing and practicing his letters...which he is obsessed over.

Nothing to share. She is just cute.

During December, we did an activity advent calendar instead of a candy one. It was a huge success. We did all sorts of fun things.

We visited the LDS Conference center...

the temple lights....

Made popcorn garland...

Visited Thanksgiving Pointe Lights...and the scary looking reindeer...

 Had a ward Christmas Party....

It was one of the best December's we have ever had. Each activity brought us together and many activities focused on the true meaning of Christmas...our Savior.

We also had a family Christmas Party...Grandma and Grandpa Christensen.

For some reason my camer errored out on pictures of Karly, Caleb and Family and Colton and his girlfriend! So sad!
At the family party, we had a ugly sweater contest. These elves were a hit.

I think I am the only person in the world lucky enough to have divorced parents that actually get a long and don't mind sharing parties/events so we can do it together! My Dad was one of the best dressed!

I dressed up like a candy cane and August wore his bear sweater (love the bow on his head the tree). The kids were a beautiful disaster in their ugly clothes as well. Thank you DI!

Opening PJ's on Christmas Eve

Christmas Morning!

Bella refused to put her jammies on. She only wanted to hold them on the hanger.

We visited my Grandparents on Christmas Day.

Grandma Visited us!

And the kids had a blast!

Grandpa spent Christmas Eve and morning with us!

Sledding. Love hate. We picked the one day that happend to be 4 degrees. Bella and I only lasted long enough for this picture. We sat in the car the rest of the time.

Caleb (my die hard) even ended up in tears he was so cold.
