Have I ever told you that I LOVE summer and warm weather. I spend 8 months out of the year trying to figure out how to find warm weather (aka: move-location depends on what episode of House Hunters International I am watching & vacation planning, etc...) and the other 4 months enjoying it. Now that the "enjoy" part of the year is here, the kids and I (ok August too...when he is not working:) have been diligently coming up with some fun things to do and see this summer. I hope to get our list on the sidebar soon.
I have also promised myself that I am going to catch back up on my blogging. It came to a screeching halt last year when I found out that 1100 pictures were stuck on my camera card. But alas, I paid a fortune and some whiz kid was able to get them off for me. This is after sending it to a professional lab and them telling me it was impossible. Don't ever underestimate the youth of today right?!
I also want to do better at blogging because August's parents are back on another mission and it is a good way for them to keep up with our life. Blogging also checks the "journaling" box for me. So, when I have that lesson in RS I can sit back guilt free;)
So, (raise your glass coke can) here is to a fresh start!
